We are looking for skilled Pickers/Packers to join our state-of-the-art facility in Seattle, Washington. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders by picking items from warehouse shelves and packing them for shipment. Your precision and speed are vital to our logistics operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and possesses the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to all company policies and safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order sheets or scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment, selecting suitable packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as required.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors immediately.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capacity for frequent bending, stooping, and occasional Lifting of up to 30 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
