We are hiring a Forklift Operator in Provo, Utah, to support our busy warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials. Your ability to maneuver equipment safely and accurately will be critical to maintaining inventory integrity and ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our logistics network. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move raw materials, finished goods, and other items within the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and shipping containers.
- Stack and store inventory in designated areas, ensuring stability and accessibility.
- Perform daily safety checks and routine maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking as required.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members and supervisors to achieve operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Certified Forklift Operator with proven experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong knowledge of safe forklift operating procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime as needed.
