You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, managing stock levels, and ensuring that our warehouse management system (WMS) accurately reflects our physical inventory. This position requires a methodical approach, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to **safety** in all inventory-related **logistics** activities. You will work closely with the warehouse team to identify and resolve inventory issues, implement process improvements, and contribute to overall operational efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor and manage stock levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory data in the WMS.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper stock rotation and organization.
- Adhere to all **safety** protocols and maintain a secure environment for inventory.
- Support **logistics** operations by ensuring accurate inventory availability.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to **lift** up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Understanding of **logistics** principles and inventory best practices.
- Knowledge of warehouse **safety** standards and willingness to use **PPE**.
