Job Summary:
Our Washington D.C. logistics facility is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to support our growing operations. In this vital role, you will be responsible for a range of warehouse duties, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. Your efficiency and attention to detail are paramount to ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. This position offers a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic supply chain team.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately receive, unload, and inspect inbound inventory.
  • Properly store and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick and pack customer orders with precision and speed.
  • Prepare shipments for transit, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), safely.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment, strictly following all logistics safety standards.
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
  • Wear all required PPE, including safety vests and steel-toed boots.
  • Be capable of lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow and problem resolution.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
  • Proven ability for lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and practices.
  • Commitment to wearing and utilizing all designated PPE.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
