A thorough understanding of warehouse procedures, WMS software, and a keen eye for detail are essential. This position requires analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. While some physical activity may be involved, including occasional lifting up to 30 lbs, the focus is on data integrity and process improvement. Safety is paramount; adherence to all company safety guidelines and the correct use of PPE is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Execute daily cycle counts and investigate inventory variances.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Process stock adjustments, receipts, and transfers in a timely manner.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient flow of goods.
- Implement and monitor inventory control policies and procedures.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with inventory management standards.
- Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Demonstrable experience in inventory control, preferably in a logistics environment.
- Proficiency in WMS software and strong data analysis skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of supply chain and logistics principles.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Commitment to workplace safety and correct PPE usage.
