This role is fundamental to our distribution and logistics efforts, involving the handling of goods and ensuring that our inventory is managed effectively. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store merchandise accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders according to specific instructions.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
- Demonstrate the ability to handle physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Wear and use all required PPE at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational objectives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a warehouse or similar setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting consistently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to be trained on warehouse equipment and systems.
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of safety .
- Must be comfortable wearing required PPE .
