Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Move materials from receiving to storage areas and from storage to staging for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Ensure materials are properly stored, organized, and secured.
- Maintain equipment in good working order and report any issues.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures meticulously.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet operational demands.
- Adhere to all guidelines regarding the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Keep the work area clean and free from debris.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is required.
- Valid forklift operator certification or the ability to obtain one.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including significant Lifting (up to 60 lbs).
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety best practices.
- Good understanding of logistics and material flow.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
