Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Shipping & Receiving Associate for our facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This pivotal role ensures the seamless flow of goods into and out of our distribution center, forming a critical link in our logistics network. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of inbound and outbound shipments, including unloading trucks, verifying documentation, inspecting goods for damage, and accurately stocking received items. On the outbound side, you will pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring they meet all carrier requirements. A strong emphasis on Safety is paramount, and adherence to all protocols, including the proper use of PPE, is mandatory. This role requires physical stamina, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining an efficient and safe working environment. Responsibilities:
  • Unload incoming shipments and verify quantities and quality.
  • Process outbound shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and labeling.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely (certification and training available).
  • Maintain organized storage of inventory in designated areas.
  • Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies.
  • Prepare products for shipment, including packaging and securing.
  • Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and wear assigned PPE.
  • Support inventory control procedures and cycle counts.
  • Must have the ability to perform regular Lifting tasks, up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of logistics and inventory management principles.
  • Proficiency in using scanning equipment and basic computer skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and handle frequent Lifting.
  • Commitment to upholding Safety standards in all activities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
