Job Summary:
Are you a meticulous and organized individual with a passion for efficient logistics? We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all outbound shipments are accurately processed, packed, and dispatched to their destinations. You will be responsible for verifying shipping orders against packed goods, preparing shipping labels, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining organized shipping areas. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also be responsible for managing shipping documentation, tracking shipments, and resolving any discrepancies that may arise. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately verify and process all outgoing shipments.
  • Prepare shipping labels and documentation for various carriers.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickups and deliveries.
  • Maintain organized and clean shipping and receiving areas.
  • Conduct quality checks on packed items before dispatch.
  • Track shipments and resolve any delivery issues or discrepancies.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a shipping or logistics role preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with shipping software is a plus.
  • Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety procedures.
