We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse facilities. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, and picking inventory, as well as preparing outgoing shipments. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Stock received merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed, contributing to overall logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of Safety protocols in a warehouse setting.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
