Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our busy warehouse facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this critical role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth flow of goods within the warehouse, from receiving to shipping. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, transferring materials to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. A valid forklift certification is highly desirable, and a proven track record of safe operation is essential. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment and possess excellent attention to detail. Adherence to all safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This position involves regular heavy lifting and requires physical stamina. We are committed to providing a secure and efficient workplace, adhering to all logistics industry standards for safety and operational excellence. Continuous training on safe lifting techniques and hazard awareness will be provided to all our team members.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
  • Load and unload pallets from trucks and trailers.
  • Transport goods to and from designated storage areas.
  • Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment.
  • Assist with inventory counts and record-keeping.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
  • Follow all logistics guidelines for efficient product handling.
This role requires the ability to perform substantial lifting and requires candidates to be vigilant about safety. Your contribution is vital to our logistics operations.
