We are looking for a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring that all goods are accurately received, inspected, and documented. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for unloading delivery trucks, verifying shipment contents against purchase orders, and reporting any discrepancies or damages. We are seeking a reliable and organized individual who understands the importance of precision in a warehouse environment. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect received items for damage or defects.
- Accurately record received inventory into the warehouse management system.
- Tag and label incoming stock.
- Report discrepancies, shortages, or damages to supervisors.
- Move received goods to designated storage areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with inventory control as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Receiving Clerk or in a warehouse/logistics role preferred.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and data entry.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety practices and PPE.
