Houston, Texas, is seeking a diligent Shipping Clerk to join our growing logistics department. As a Shipping Clerk, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accurate and timely dispatch of all outgoing shipments. Your responsibilities will include preparing shipping documents, verifying shipment details against orders, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining accurate shipping records. You will be responsible for generating shipping labels, organizing outgoing freight, and ensuring all shipments comply with carrier and regulatory requirements. A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this role. You will work closely with the receiving and inventory teams to ensure a seamless flow of goods through the logistics chain. Safety is a top priority; you must adhere to all warehouse safety policies and use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While not a heavy Lifting role, occasional assistance with moving packages may be required. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in logistics and contribute to the efficiency of our shipping operations.
