We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and assisting with inventory-related discrepancies. Your keen attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring the integrity of our warehouse operations. This position plays a vital part in the overall efficiency of our supply chain and requires a proactive approach to inventory management. You will work closely with other departments to resolve stock issues and contribute to a streamlined workflow. Emphasis will be placed on adherence to all safety protocols and the proper use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong understanding of warehouse procedures and possess excellent data entry skills. This role involves regular lifting of up to 30 pounds and requires the ability to stand for extended periods. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Record and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Update inventory management system with accurate data.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining stockroom layout.
- Receive and process incoming inventory.
- Monitor stock levels and report low inventory items.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of goods to prevent damage.
- Support logistics operations by providing accurate inventory information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
