Our Raleigh, North Carolina, location is seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist. This vital role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, which is critical for efficient logistics and operations. You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to minimize inventory loss. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Identify and report on slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
- Implement and improve inventory control procedures.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure stock availability.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist in receiving and put-away processes to maintain inventory accuracy from the start.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with WMS software and inventory management techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Knowledge of warehouse logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all guidelines, including wearing PPE.
