Our Miami, Florida, operation is seeking a diligent Inventory Clerk to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. In this role, you will be responsible for tracking inventory levels, performing stock counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring the integrity of our inventory data. Your work is essential to the efficient functioning of our logistics department, helping to prevent stockouts and overstock situations. We are looking for individuals with a strong aptitude for detail and a commitment to accuracy. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in inventory management within the logistics sector. We offer competitive pay and a supportive work environment. You will work with our inventory management system and collaborate with warehouse staff to resolve any issues. Occasional Lifting of inventory items may be required. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels in the system.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies or variances.
- Process incoming and outgoing inventory movements.
- Generate inventory reports as needed.
- Assist with organizing inventory storage locations.
- Ensure that all inventory is properly labeled and accounted for.
- Follow all Safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a related role is preferred.
- Proficiency with inventory management software or systems.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to perform occasional Lifting of inventory, up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
