We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators to join our busy warehouse facility in Miami, Florida. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse. You will operate various types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks, to load and unload goods, transport inventory, and stage materials for shipping and receiving. Maintaining a clean and organized work area, as well as performing routine equipment checks, is also part of your responsibilities. Safety is our top priority; therefore, strict adherence to all safety regulations and operational procedures is mandatory. This position requires a high level of concentration, precision, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. The ability to work effectively within our logistics framework is essential. You will be expected to manage your time efficiently to meet operational demands. This is a physically active role that may involve periods of standing, walking, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently.
- Transport inventory to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including those related to lifting and material handling.
- Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during all operations.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and smooth operation of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of material handling and logistics operations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and committed to workplace safety.
