Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and stage incoming materials and components.
- Transport materials to and from production areas, storage locations, and shipping docks using appropriate equipment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring secure and timely movement of goods.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with stock placement and organization.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels.
- Ensure all materials are handled in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in the organization and upkeep of the warehouse or production floor.
- Identify and report any damaged materials, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards.
- Support the logistics team by ensuring timely availability of materials.
- Assist with the packaging and preparation of outgoing shipments.
- Follow all standard operating procedures for material handling.
- Be prepared for extensive Lifting and physical tasks involved in moving materials.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in warehouse operations.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role. Proficiency with forklifts and other warehouse equipment is essential. Strong physical stamina for significant Lifting and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required. A commitment to Safety and a meticulous approach to handling materials are paramount. This position is key to our logistics chain and requires dedication and precision.
