Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Technician in Salt Lake City, Utah! We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to maintain and repair our warehouse equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This role is crucial for the overall success of our logistics and distribution network. You will be responsible for routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and proactive repair of various machinery, including forklifts, conveyors, and automated systems. Ensuring the highest standards of safety and operational readiness is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on all warehouse equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts and order replacements as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with the warehouse operations team to minimize downtime.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment.
- Conduct regular safety checks to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in warehouse technology and maintenance best practices.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement within the warehouse.
Qualifications:
Experience in industrial maintenance or a related field is required. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be comfortable with lifting heavy components and working in a fast-paced logistics environment. Knowledge of safety regulations is a must. This role requires excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Availability to work flexible hours may be required.
