As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently gathering items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders, and then carefully packing them for shipment. Your role is critical to ensuring customer satisfaction and the smooth functioning of our logistics department. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess a strong sense of responsibility, and enjoy working as part of a team. You will be trained on our systems and expected to maintain a clean and safe working environment, always utilizing the provided PPE. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting and standing for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and pick products from designated warehouse locations.
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Package products securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Utilize handheld scanners to track inventory and order status.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and restocking shelves.
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Previous picking and packing experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and basic logistics.
