Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move materials.
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials, checking for damages and discrepancies.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Load and unload shipments, maintaining proper records and documentation.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
- Conduct regular checks on equipment and report any issues for maintenance.
- Follow all mandated safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Assist in maintaining the overall smooth operation of the logistics hub.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse setting, particularly as a Material Handler, is highly desirable.
- Must be capable of performing physically demanding tasks including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with diverse material handling equipment and techniques.
- A strong emphasis on workplace Safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Excellent attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and also independently.
- Completion of high school or a G.E.D. certificate.
