As a Distribution Center Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from shelves, packing and shipping orders, and participating in inventory management. This role is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring that products are handled correctly and that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. The job requires physical stamina, including standing for extended periods, walking, and regular lifting. Safety is a top priority; you will be trained on all safety procedures and must consistently use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock shelves and designated storage areas accurately.
- Pick items for customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Pack orders carefully and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following instructions.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics setting.
