Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic team in Portland, Oregon . In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. This includes conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions to minimize stockouts and overstock situations. You will work closely with the warehouse management team to ensure efficient inventory management processes are followed. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to upholding high standards of accuracy. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
  • Track and report on inventory accuracy metrics.
  • Collaborate with receiving and shipping departments to ensure proper stock handling.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with all company Safety policies and procedures.
  • Operate equipment as needed, adhering to all operational and safety guidelines.
  • Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with WMS or ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Logistics operations.
  • Willingness to wear required PPE .
  • Ability to perform tasks involving Lifting up to 50 lbs.
