We are looking for a meticulous and organized Inventory Clerk to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for tracking stock levels, conducting cycle counts, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintaining detailed inventory records. Your role directly supports our **logistics** operations by ensuring we have the right products in the right place at the right time. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We are committed to a **safe** working environment and require strict adherence to all **safety** protocols, including the use of **PPE**. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Verify the accuracy of received goods against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
- Track and record inventory movements, including receipts, transfers, and shipments.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
- Maintain organized and tidy stockroom or warehouse areas.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely when needed.
- Assist with the organization and **logistics** of inventory placement.
- Prepare inventory reports as requested.
- Ensure compliance with all **safety** regulations and the correct use of **PPE**.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or vocational training preferred.
- Previous experience as an inventory clerk, warehouse associate, or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse **logistics**.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software or systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including **lifting** up to 30 lbs.
- Commitment to maintaining a **safe** work environment and using **PPE**.
