We are seeking a diligent and organized Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. As a Shipping Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely dispatch of goods to our valued customers. Your responsibilities will include preparing shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, inspecting outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage, and maintaining detailed records of all shipping activities. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will be responsible for verifying package contents against order specifications, applying shipping labels, and ensuring all shipments meet company and carrier requirements. Strong communication skills are essential as you will liaise with internal departments and external shipping partners. Adherence to all safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is paramount. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds is often required, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and orderly workspace is expected.
