Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist for our Denver, Colorado distribution center. This role is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, ensuring that our logistics operations run efficiently. You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing improvements to inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations. A commitment to safety and adherence to protocols is also paramount.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between system records and physical stock.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report on stock status, identifying potential shortages or overages.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Assist in receiving and put-away processes to ensure proper documentation and storage.
  • Identify damaged or expired stock and manage its disposition according to company policy.
  • Operate warehouse equipment and use inventory management software effectively.
  • Ensure all inventory-related activities comply with safety regulations and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to improve overall logistics efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related logistics role.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and proper use of PPE.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
