Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming materials, verifying quantities against purchase orders.
- Store materials in designated warehouse locations, utilizing appropriate equipment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials efficiently.
- Pick and stage materials for outgoing shipments according to orders.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring secure and proper handling.
- Report any damage to goods or equipment immediately.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE diligently.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 45 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices in logistics.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and using PPE.
