This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, ensuring efficient operations, and minimizing stock discrepancies. You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring inventory control procedures, conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling stock levels, and investigating the root causes of any variances. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles. Collaboration with warehouse, purchasing, and operational teams is essential for success in this position. A commitment to accuracy, process improvement, and adherence to safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily cycle counts and participate in physical inventory counts.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS and ERP systems.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and optimize stock levels.
- Develop, implement, and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors, planners, and other departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Generate reports on inventory status, accuracy, and movement.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Occasional Lifting of inventory items up to 30 lbs may be required.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of warehouse logistics.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and procedures.
