Our Atlanta, Georgia location has an opening for a skilled Warehouse Technician. This role is critical to maintaining the operational integrity and efficiency of our logistics and warehousing facilities. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including the assembly and disassembly of racking systems, performing routine maintenance on warehouse equipment, and ensuring all areas meet stringent Safety standards. This position requires a good understanding of warehouse operations, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to upholding the highest Safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE. The ability to perform moderate to heavy Lifting and work independently or as part of a team is essential. We are looking for a proactive individual with problem-solving skills and a dedication to ensuring a well-functioning and secure warehouse environment. Your contributions will directly support our logistics chain and help prevent operational disruptions.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, disassemble, and repair warehouse racking and shelving systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Ensure all warehouse areas are clean, organized, and meet Safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of safety equipment and report any deficiencies.
- Assist with inventory management and stock organization.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery as needed, following all Safety procedures.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE diligently.
- Manage materials and perform tasks involving Lifting.
- Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues within the logistics facility.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and safety of the warehouse operations.
