Join our dedicated team as a Shipping Clerk in Washington, D.C.! This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that all outgoing orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include preparing shipments for dispatch, selecting appropriate packaging materials, securely packing items, and accurately labeling packages for domestic and international transit. You will work with shipping software to create bills of lading, track shipments, and communicate shipping information to relevant departments and customers. This role requires excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. You must be physically capable of handling moderate lifting and possess a strong understanding of shipping regulations and procedures. Safety is paramount, and adherence to all company safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE, is mandatory.
