You will be responsible for preparing shipping documents, verifying order accuracy, and coordinating with carriers to arrange pickups and deliveries. Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare shipping labels, bills of lading, and other shipping documentation.
- Verify that outgoing shipments match customer orders and specifications.
- Inspect outgoing packages for damage and ensure proper packaging and labeling.
- Communicate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Maintain organized shipping records and files.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a related logistics role is a plus.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to perform moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs).
