Our Distribution Center in Nashville, Tennessee is looking for a motivated Distribution Center Associate to join our team. This role is multifaceted, involving receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. You will be a key player in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of products through our facility, contributing directly to our logistics success. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick products for outgoing orders.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the distribution center.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and provide accurate stock information.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics principles.
- Commitment to safety protocols and proper use of PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
