This role is critical to the efficient operation of our distribution center, ensuring that inventory is managed, processed, and dispatched accurately and on time. As a Warehouse Associate, your responsibilities will include receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for delivery. We seek candidates who are reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment. You will be required to perform tasks involving physical exertion, including regular lifting of up to 50 lbs, and must adhere to all safety protocols, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock merchandise accurately into warehouse storage locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and care.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent data entry and record-keeping.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure the proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for the duration of the shift.
- Must be capable of lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and inventory control principles.
- Commitment to a safe work environment and diligent use of PPE.
