Our busy Detroit, Michigan warehouse is looking for a dedicated Material Handler to contribute to our efficient operations. As a Material Handler, you will play a key role in managing the flow of inventory, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all tasks. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, inspecting goods for damage, and transferring materials to their appropriate storage locations using hand trucks and pallet jacks. You will be involved in order fulfillment, which includes picking items from shelves, preparing them for shipment, and staging them in the shipping area. Maintaining the integrity of our inventory through careful handling and accurate record-keeping is essential. This position requires the ability to perform tasks that involve physical exertion, including regular lifting of up to 50 pounds. A strong commitment to safety is a must; you will be required to use provided PPE and follow all established safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
