We are seeking an experienced Reach Truck Operator to join our advanced logistics center in San Antonio, Texas. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be instrumental in the efficient movement and storage of goods within our facility. Your primary responsibilities will involve operating a reach truck to transport, stack, and retrieve inventory at various heights. This role demands precision, a strong safety consciousness, and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations. You will be responsible for performing daily inspections of the reach truck, ensuring it is in optimal working condition, and adhering strictly to all safety regulations and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. While reach truck operation is the main focus, you may be asked to assist with other warehouse duties, including occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a reach truck to move and position inventory.
- Load and unload materials from racking systems and trucks.
- Maintain accurate inventory placement and organization.
- Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on the reach truck.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including PPE usage.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping as needed.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Valid reach truck operator certification and proven experience.
- Proficiency in operating material handling equipment in a warehouse setting.
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety protocols and PPE.
- Ability to perform occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Experience in a fast-paced logistics environment is a plus.
