Are you detail-oriented and experienced in inventory management? We are looking for a skilled Inventory Control Specialist to join our logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventories, and investigating and resolving discrepancies. You will also be involved in optimizing inventory placement, managing stock rotation, and implementing best practices for inventory control. Your work directly impacts the efficiency of our warehouse operations and the accuracy of our order fulfillment. A thorough understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) is essential. We expect all team members to adhere strictly to safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While the primary focus is on accuracy and data integrity, some physical tasks may be required, including occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds. The ideal candidate is analytical, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and has excellent organizational abilities. Previous experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar role within a logistics environment is required.
