We are hiring Picker/Packers for our state-of-the-art logistics facility in Austin, Texas. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient picking and packing of customer orders. Your attention to detail will ensure that each order is correctly assembled and prepared for shipment, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. This fast-paced position requires individuals who are organized, energetic, and committed to upholding safety standards. You will be handling a variety of products, requiring careful packing to prevent damage during transit. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team in the heart of Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately select products from inventory locations based on pick lists or scanner prompts.
- Pack orders with appropriate materials to ensure product protection during shipping.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and dispatch.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for outgoing logistics.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all warehouse protocols.
- Wear and utilize required PPE, such as gloves and safety glasses.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding workflow and any challenges.
- Perform tasks that may involve lifting up to 45 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall success and efficiency of our logistics network.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in picking, packing, or a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining quality.
- Stamina to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all guidelines, including PPE usage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
