Join our growing team in Cincinnati, Ohio, as an Order Picker. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, focusing on the accurate and efficient retrieval of products to fulfill customer orders. You will be responsible for navigating our warehouse, identifying items using scanning technology, and preparing them for the next stage of the shipping process. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Your accuracy and speed directly impact our customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our supply chain. We are looking for individuals who are reliable and dedicated to their work.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse locations using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure correct product and quantity.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and walkie-riders as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues to a supervisor promptly.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and other stock-taking activities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for the duration of the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of required PPE.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory systems is a plus.
