Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers with accuracy and care.
- Transport materials and finished goods to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and organize inventory according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Inspect equipment daily before use, reporting any issues or defects to maintenance.
- Assist with receiving and shipping functions as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring clear pathways.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Participate in inventory counts and help maintain inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operational flow.
Qualifications:
Must possess a valid forklift operator certification. Proven experience operating various types of forklifts. Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and regulations. Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations is a plus. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all protocols, including wearing PPE. Reliable with a strong work ethic.
