Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Boise, Idaho. This role is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, directly supporting our overall logistics and supply chain management. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing measures to improve inventory accuracy. Your work ensures that we have the right products, in the right quantities, at the right time, contributing significantly to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor stock levels and report on inventory accuracy metrics.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper stock rotation and organization.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to all Safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Support logistics operations by providing accurate inventory data.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements for inventory management.
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in inventory control or a similar warehouse role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with WMS software is a significant plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting, up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Commitment to workplace Safety and following all guidelines.
  • Understanding of logistics principles.
