This role is vital for our overall logistics chain, ensuring smooth operations from receiving to shipping. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks, to move, stack, load, and unload materials. Maintaining a safe work environment is our top priority; therefore, adherence to all Safety guidelines and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This position requires excellent hand-eye coordination, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to operational excellence. You will work closely with other warehouse associates to ensure timely order fulfillment and inventory accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Stack and retrieve inventory accurately.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment.
- Follow all Safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Practice proper Lifting techniques when handling goods manually.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Minimum of 2 years of forklift operation experience.
- Proven knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Willingness to comply with all Safety and PPE requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
