Overview What You'll Be Doing As a Senior Consultant - Demand Response Analytics Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in conducting insightful, data-driven analyses aimed at quantifying the effects of intervention strategies. You will help utilities and government clients navigate complex demand-side management (DSM) challenges, focusing on areas like distributed energy resources, renewable energy, decarbonization, demand response, energy efficiency, flexible load resources, equity, sustainability, and retail rate design. Responsibilities Lead research design, data collection, analysis, and reporting to support client engagements related to demand response, renewable energy, electrification, and energy efficiency evaluations. Develop and execute sample designs that uphold statistical rigor and articulate assumptions clearly for efficient data collection. Conduct primary and secondary data collection, employing statistical and econometric analysis to evaluate program and policy impacts. Interpret findings and produce clear, concise reports with actionable recommendations. Oversee consulting projects by collaborating with project team members and clients to ensure the fulfillment of project goals. Maintain effective communication with project teams, Cadmus leadership, and support staff across various time zones, addressing issues proactively and providing constructive feedback. Guide clients in developing solutions for demand response, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and electrification challenges. Manage budgets, invoices, project planning, and resource allocation effectively. Ensure deliverables meet Cadmus quality standards and exceed client expectations while nurturing client relationships as the primary point of contact. Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow client accounts through effective proposal development. Qualifications Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related quantitative field with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor’s degree with 8-10 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R, Python, or Stata. Strong background in inferential statistics, including sampling, research design, and regression analysis. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proactive and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Desire for professional growth and willingness to tackle challenging assignments. Competency in MS Office applications, notably Word and Excel. Desired Qualifications Experience in the energy sector or utility industry. Applied research design experience in a professional setting, such as consulting. Experience in creating interactive web applications and data visualizations using platforms like R-Shiny, Flask, DASH, or Streamlit. Additional Information Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S. Permanent Resident or U.S. Citizen. The minimum starting salary for this role is $105,000, with the actual salary being determined by factors including relevant experience and skills.
