We are looking for motivated Material Handlers to join our dynamic warehouse team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our logistics and distribution center. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, organizing, and preparing materials for shipment and storage. You will operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, and may assist with forklift operations. A strong focus on Safety and efficiency is required. You will handle a variety of materials, ensuring accurate tracking and placement. We provide comprehensive training and all necessary PPE to ensure a safe working environment. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Sort, organize, and stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Prepare materials for shipment, including staging and loading.
- Operate manual and powered equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Assist forklift operators with loading and unloading as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics process.
- Perform tasks requiring consistent Lifting, bending, and standing.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and hand trucks proficiently.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Physical stamina to handle frequent Lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to Safety and following instructions precisely.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of proper lifting techniques is essential.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Reliable and punctual.
