Join our team in Omaha, Nebraska as a Receiving Clerk and play a critical role in managing the inflow of merchandise into our distribution center. This position is fundamental to our Logistics operations, ensuring that all incoming products are accurately processed, inspected, and documented. A meticulous approach is required to maintain inventory accuracy and support efficient warehouse operations. Your commitment to Safety and proper handling of goods is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming freight from trucks, verifying counts and checking for damages.
- Compare receiving documents with purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
- Record all received goods into the inventory system promptly and accurately.
- Tag or label merchandise as required.
- Stage products for stocking or distribution.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe receiving area, adhering to all company Safety protocols.
- Ensure proper use of required PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- This role requires moderate physical exertion and occasional Lifting up to 40 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehouse receiving is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform tasks involving physical labor, including standing, bending, and lifting.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
