Your daily tasks will include using scanners to identify and retrieve products, verifying order details, and carefully packing items to prevent damage during transit. This job involves significant standing, walking, and lifting, so physical stamina is important. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify product information against order details.
- Pack orders with care, ensuring proper materials are used to protect items.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Conduct quality checks on picked and packed items.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse organization.
- Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy goals.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable and punctual.
