We are looking for a motivated Warehouse Worker to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a vital role in our daily logistics operations, contributing to the efficient flow of goods through our facility. This position requires individuals with a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team. You will be involved in various warehouse tasks, from receiving and stocking to picking and packing orders. We value reliability and a proactive approach to task completion.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Operate manual and powered equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or discrepancies.
- Follow all company guidelines regarding the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed, contributing to overall logistics efficiency.
- Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with safety standards and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Understanding of general warehouse safety practices.
- Familiarity with basic logistics operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
