Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Picker/Packer to join our dynamic team in Sacramento, California. This role is crucial for our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customers receive their products accurately and on time. You will be responsible for retrieving items from inventory, inspecting them for quality, and securely packaging them for shipment. A strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to safety protocols is expected. This is a hands-on position that offers a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced logistics environment. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick items from inventory based on customer orders using pick sheets or RF scanners.
  • Verify product information and quantities during the picking process.
  • Inspect items for any damage or defects before packing.
  • Pack orders efficiently and securely to prevent damage during transit.
  • Select appropriate packaging materials and supplies.
  • Apply shipping labels and any necessary documentation to packages.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station.
  • Adhere to all company safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
  • Perform tasks that involve manual labor, including regular lifting and bending.
  • Contribute to achieving team productivity goals within the logistics department.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in picking, packing, or a similar warehouse role is a plus.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to wear and use required PPE.
  • Familiarity with RF scanning technology is beneficial.
