Are you a reliable and physically capable individual looking for a role in a dynamic warehouse environment? We are hiring a Material Handler for our Orlando, Florida facility. This position is fundamental to our daily operations, involving the movement, storage, and organization of materials throughout the warehouse. You will ensure that products are handled efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall success of our Logistics operations. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and move materials to and from storage areas.
- Load and unload materials onto and from pallets, platforms, or other lifting devices.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to specifications.
- Operate manual and powered material handling equipment (training provided).
- Assist with inventory control activities, including stock counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with Safety regulations.
- Follow all company procedures for handling and storing materials within the Logistics framework.
- Properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Support team members in achieving daily operational goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse functions.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including frequent and repetitive Lifting (up to 55 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Basic knowledge of Logistics operations is beneficial.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
