Job Summary:
Are you a meticulous and organized professional? We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our Las Vegas, Nevada facility. This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data, minimizing discrepancies, and optimizing stock levels. You will be responsible for developing and implementing inventory control procedures, conducting audits, and analyzing inventory trends to improve efficiency within our logistics operations. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Your expertise will directly impact our operational costs and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, causes of discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Manage and maintain the accuracy of inventory records in the WMS.
  • Optimize stock rotation and storage methods.
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
  • Generate comprehensive inventory reports for management.
  • Train warehouse staff on inventory control best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and WMS.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel).
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must adhere to safety standards and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain best practices is essential.
