Join our fast-paced distribution center in Raleigh, North Carolina, as a Picker/Packer! This role is essential for ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves and carefully packing them for shipment to our valued customers. This position requires excellent attention to detail, speed, and accuracy to meet performance targets. A strong understanding of our inventory system and picking procedures is key. Safety is our top priority, and all team members must adhere to strict Safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, who are reliable and can maintain productivity throughout their shifts. Experience in a similar role is advantageous, but we provide comprehensive training for motivated individuals. The ability to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting and prolonged standing is necessary. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order details.
- Inspect picked items for damage or discrepancies.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Verify order accuracy before packing.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Operate packing equipment and machinery as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Meet or exceed picking and packing productivity goals.
- Utilize proper Lifting techniques to handle products.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of products up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of inventory management systems is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the use of PPE.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication skills.
